The Activation module consists of two parts (**Activation Configs** tab and **Activation Request** tab) that allows you to provision a connection between a Manufacturing Connect Edge device and Manufacturing Connect. This can perform activation provision for a Manufacturing Connect Edge device from these two tabs.

When you add an activation configuration from the *Activation Configs* tab you can create an activation code, and make selections for edge devices that use the activation code from Manufacturing Connect. The *Activation Requests List *pane allows you to approve, reject or delete an activation configuration from Manufacturing Connect.
