Alerts occur when an event triggers an action. Add actions and triggers **Alerts** that use events to send notifications.

# Triggers

A trigger uses an event or metric to trigger an action which sends an associated notification.

# Notification Settings

In **Notification Settings** section, you can add, modify, and view actions used by triggers. An action sends a notification when a trigger is applied.
