The *Incidents* module includes a list of edge devices for which there is an incident. Incidents are generated alerts that are based on triggers. System triggers are preloaded, and user triggers are created in [Alerts](docId:2zMaXAfW8FaxD-bhWSeP6).

The *Incidents* pane includes filters for selection of a group list, state, and date range filters for Opened Before, Opened After, Closed Before and Closed After.

You can view an edge device's details by clicking its ID, and view a trigger by clicking on the trigger link associated with an edge device.

# Access Incidents UI

**To access the incidents UI:**

1. Log in to Manufacturing Connect.
    The *Status Overview* pane by default appears.
2. From the Navigation panel, select **Events & Alerts**.
   The* Events & Alerts* pane appears, by default the *Alerts* tab displays.
3. From *Alerts *pane, select **Incidents**.
   The *Incidents *tab appears.

Refer to the following actions you can take on the Manufacturing Connect User UI's *Events & Alerts*' *Incidents* tab.

| \[5] **Select Device Group List**                                 | Filter incidents by selecting a specific group of devices.                                                                   |
| \[6] **Select State**                                             | - All: Display all incidents
- Open: Display only open incidents.
- Close: Display only closed incidents.                    |
| \[7] **Refresh**                                                  | Update the list.                                                                                                             |
| \[8] **Show filter** / **Hide filter**                            | Toggle the visibility of filter options.                                                                                     |
| \[9] **View** [Edge Device Details](docId\:HsjuJiJB8WYnup7ZnVyIl) | You cannot access an edge device if the Manufacturing Connect can no longer reach Manufacturing Connect Edge.                |
