Once an edge device begins sending data to Manufacturing Connect, it becomes available in the *Info* tab.

**Note**: Some manufacturers do not expose device details to the software. Therefore this information may not be available.

You can create device groups which can be used to create group alerts, firmware upgrades, and group jobs. Similar devices can be grouped together, and a device group can be mapped to a trigger or multiple jobs.

**Tip**:

If data does not display:

- Check the device status from the Edge Devices pane to see if data is connected. See [Step 6: Verify Edge Device Activation in Manufacturing Connect](docId\:tYv6HxHZDKLDNx9RIx8wA). 
- Check the device information in the edge device. See [Info](docId\:tw93toOjW8IRqKvLbF3WC).

| \[4] **Remove edge device image**                                          | Delete the current image from the device.      |

For an Edge Device's *info* pane's *Add edge device group*, existing group names will appear. You can apply these existing group names to additional devices.
