The **Rise and Fall** processor calculates the difference in upper and lower thresholds between consecutive values.

# Rise and Fall Overview

- **Rise**: Once you enter a lower threshold and an upper threshold, this function will show you the timestamp at which the current value starts to rise from the lower threshold.
- **Fall**: Once you enter a lower threshold and an upper threshold, this function will show you the timestamp at which the current value starts to fall from the upper threshold.
- Also provides rise time and fall time in seconds.

# Rise and Fall Parameters

| **Parameters** | **Details** |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Kpi | This parameter allows you to specify whether you want to calculate the rise, fall, or both for the given data. |
| Upper | This is the value above which the data is considered to be rising or falling. |
| Lower | This is the value below which the data is considered to be rising or falling. |
| Tolerance | Any changes in the data that are under this tolerance will be ignored when calculating the rise and fall. |
