Add a Marketplace Catalog

You can add multiple marketplace catalogs by navigating to Applications > Configure.

Before You Begin

Internet connectivity is required to deploy the marketplace and to install applications. Once an instance is created, internet access is no longer required to create additional instances of the same application.

  • The catalog administrator must create a marketplace on the catalog server that includes registry, application images, and catalog.
  • You must know the following:
    • URL for the marketplace catalog.
    • The client ID and client secret.
    • The authentication server URL.

Add a Marketplace Catalog

To add a marketplace catalog:

  1. Navigate to Applications > Configure.
  2. From the Configure pane, click the Add (+) icon.

  3. From the Add Marketplace Catalog dialog box, enter the details:
    • Name
    • URL: The URL for the Marketplace server. You can request the API URL from your catalog administrator.
    • Add Certificate Authority: Select the check box. Then, click the Select File box, navigate to a CA file, and then click Open. Alternatively, you can copy the open CA file and paste it into the Select File box.
    • Client ID: The Client ID for the authorization server.
    • Client Secret: The Client Secret for the authorization server.
    • Token URL: The Token URL for the authorization server. You can request the Token URL from your catalog administrator.
    • Select Catalog: Use the drop-down list to select a catalog.
  4. Click Add. The private catalog appears in the Marketplace list.
  5. Navigate to Marketplace and click the catalog tile you just added. The applications associated with the marketplace display.
