You can add networks from the *Networks *pane of the *Applications *module. You can then use these networks to run specific application containers.

# Create a Network

**To add a network:**

1. Navigate to **Applications **> **Networks**.
 The *Networks *pane appears.
2. Click the **Create a Network **icon.
The *Create Network* dialog box appears.

3. Enter a name for the network in the **Name** field.

## Step 1: Network Configuration

Enter the details in the *Network configuration* section.

- **Driver**: Use the drop-down list to select a network type. The options are: bridge, ipvlan, or macvlan.
- **Driver Options** (Optional): Click **Driver Options**, enter key-value values in the **Key **and **Value **fields, and click **Add**. Repeat adding key-value pairs as needed.

## Step 2: IPV4 Network Configuration

Enter the details in the *IPV4 Network configuration* section.

- **Subnet**: Enter a subnet value.
- **Gateway**: Enter the gateway address.
- **IP Range**: Enter the network's IP range.
- **Add Excluded IP** (Optional): Click **Add Excluded IP**, enter key-value values in the **Key **and **Value **fields, and click **Add**. Repeat adding key-value pairs as needed.

- **Subnet**: Enter a subnet value.
- **Gateway**: Enter the gateway address.
- **IP Range**: Enter the network's IP range.
- **Add Excluded IP** (Optional): Click **Add Excluded IP**, enter key-value values in the **Key **and **Value **fields, and click **Add**. Repeat adding key-value pairs as needed.

## Step 4: Advanced Configuration

- **Isolated network**: Select the check box to restrict containers created on this network to this network only, with no inbound or outbound connectivity.

- **Enable manual container attachment**: Select the check box to enable users to attach the network to running containers.

- **Labels **(Optional): Click **Labels**, enter key-value values in the **Key **and **Value **fields, and click **Add**. Repeat adding key-value pairs as needed.
