Overview
InfluxDB v2.x TCP integration enables an Edge System to connect with an InfluxDB database.
Note: The following data types and formats are not viewable in InfluxDB:
- string
- char
- JSON payloads

- Outbound (Write from Edge to Database) - Yes
- Inbound (Read from Database to Edge) - No
Variable Definitions

Name | Enter a name for the connector |
Address | InfluxDB database URL (for example, http://localhost:8086) |
Bucket | Bucket name |
Organization | Organization name |
Auth Token | Authentication token |
Username | User name (optional) |
Password | User password (optional) |
Batch size | Enter the batch size |
Batch commit time | Enter the batch-commit time in seconds |
Throttling limit | Set a limit on the number of outbound messages per second. If sending data to a server that has restrictions on the rate of incoming messages, this ensures that no messages are lost. |
Persistent storage | If enabled, messages in the outbound queue are stored on disk. If there are interruptions in connection or power loss, messages will be retained and eventually sent when the connection is restored. |
Queue mode | Select the sequence of data transfer: FIFO or LIFO. Selecting FIFO (First In First Out) will send the earliest message first. Selecting LIFO (Last In First Out) will send the latest message first. |
Remote Data Topic | InfluxDB measurement that you want to publish data to. |
