You have the option of connecting an [MQTT Client](docId:7HejhtCC7OxFD6zKf1B8o) and [Industrial OT Server](docId\:cdNY1LPkXIlrTh3gvmPJd) as DeviceHub devices.

**Note**: You can't connect the [MQTT Client](docId:7HejhtCC7OxFD6zKf1B8o) to the DeviceHub [Industrial OT Server](docId\:cdNY1LPkXIlrTh3gvmPJd) if they are using the same Manufacturing Connect Edge instance. This includes connecting through the Flows Manager or through an Integration connector. If they are using different Manufacturing Connect Edge instances, they can connect.
