You must enable event forwarding for the edge device. The MC Edge Events tab allows you to select and apply a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select options from the Severity, Component, Edge Device ID filters to further narrow the entries. You can filter a specific event by device or by component. You can click the device **ID** link, which navigates you to the selected *Edge Device Details* pane in the *Events *tab. From the Events tab in the Edge Device Details pane, you can enable **Forward Events**. This allows you to receive alerts when you use actions and triggers in the Alerts module. :::hint{type="warning"} **Important**: Manufacturing Connect Edge Events can be a source for Manufacturing Connect Alerts. You can define triggers based on the Manufacturing Connect Edge Events and get notifications. ::: ## Access MC Edge Events **To access MC Edge events: ** 1. Log in to Manufacturing Connect. The *Status Overview* pane by default appears. 2. From the Navigation panel, select **Events & Alerts**. The *Events & Alerts* pane appears. The *Alerts* tab displays by default. 3. From the *Events & Alerts* pane, select **MC Edge Events**. The *MC Edge Events* tab appears.
