The Software Update tab includes a list of runnable tasks for Edge devices. This tab also contains a **Current (#)** tab to view `PENDING` or `RUNNING` tasks and a **History (#)** tab to view `COMPLETED` or `ERROR` (failed) tasks.

You can add a software task, run a task, or view info about current and previous task.

Single or multiple tasks can be scheduled for edge devices. You can use user-defined commands that can be scheduled to be executed. You can restart and update Manufacturing Connect Edge software.

# Access Software UI

**To access the software UI:**

1. Log in to Manufacturing Connect.
    The *Status Overview* pane by default appears.
2. From the Navigation panel, select **Edge Management**.
   The *Edge Management* pane appears. The *Edge Devices* tab displays by default.
3. From the *Edge Management* pane, select **Software Update**.
   The* Software Update* tab appears.
