In Manufacturing Connect Edge, you will next enable the default generic MQTT SSL connector to facilitate a data connection between the Manufacturing Connect Edge instance and its respective Manufacturing Connect.&#x20;

**To enable the connector:&#x20;**

1. In the Manufacturing Connect edge browser tab, from the navigation panel, select **Integration**.
2. From the **Integration** pane that appears, for the **Default Generic MQTT SSL connector&#x20;**&#x74;ile's right, click the connector toggle switch.
3. Wait a few seconds for the **Default Generic MQTT SSL connector&#x20;**&#x74;ile's top left corner to show `CONNECTED` status.
