Add Database Users

you can add a database user by navigating to datahub > db users important influx uses admin, user, and observer as default users you cannot use these usernames when creating a new user therefore, you can add users using their username when creating a db user to add a database user navigate to datahub > db users click the add ( + ) icon the add user dialog box appears enter the details for the user username password database select a database from the drop down list privilege select an access option (read, write, or all) (optional) click the plus ( + ) icon to select another database and privilege, and repeat if necessary you can remove a privilege row by clicking the trash icon next to the row you want to remove click add user the user appears in the db users pane with the listed privileges note multiple rows of the same database with different privileges will not be combined for the same database, the most bottom row's respective privilege added will be assigned for the user
