DB Users
Add Database Users

You can add a database user by navigating to DataHub > DB Users.
Important: Influx uses admin, user, and observer as default users. You cannot use these usernames when creating a new user. Therefore, you can add users using their username when creating a db user.
To add a database user:
- Navigate to DataHub > DB Users.
Click the Add (+) icon. The Add User dialog box appears.

- Username
- Password
- Database: Select a database from the drop-down list.
- Privilege: Select an access option (Read, Write, or All).
- (Optional) Click the Plus (+) icon to select another database and privilege, and repeat if necessary. You can remove a privilege row by clicking the Trash icon next to the row you want to remove.
- Click Add User. The user appears in the DB Users pane with the listed privileges.
Note: Multiple rows of the same database with different privileges will not be combined. For the same database, the most bottom row's respective privilege added will be assigned for the user.
