You can use the System module to view and modify configurations throughout Manufacturing Connect Edge.

From the Navigation panel, click System to access the list of system features:

Activation

  • Activate an edge device
  • Add or upgrade licenses
  • Add or remove license servers

Device Management

  • Manage edge devices
  • Modify Password Policy
  • Modify Disk Space Policy
  • Start, stop, disable, and enable or disable FTP services
  • Add and remove FTP users, enable or disable a user and reset an FTP user's password
  • Start and stop Remote Access and SSH services
  • Back up and restore edge device configuration
  • Save the current backup and restore configuration for cloud
  • Upload and download backup templates

Network

  • Modify Host information
  • View gateway and modify gateway if Ethernet settings are static
  • Modify DNS/NTP
  • Configure Ethernet settings
  • Add a device certificate
  • Add a custom certificate
  • Copy device public key
  • Manage the following:
    • Firewall rules
    • Manage static routes
    • Network devices
  • Select a network for your device to allow connection
  • Disconnect any device that appears on the Wi-Fi pane
  • Configure modems

External Storage

  • Add external storage
  • Set up and manage cloud storage

Access Control

  • Manage users
  • Create, edit, remove and validate REST API keys
  • Manage access accounts
  • Add authentication provider
  • Manage Password Policy

Events

  • View a log of live and historical events that have occurred for specified components
  • View Zerotouch events

Support

  • View component status
  • Generate and download a support bundle
  • Download a file and view file information
