Add/View a Remote Network

You can add and view remote networks.

  • To add a new network, click the Add icon from Edge Remote.
  • To view/update a network, click the network name from Edge Remote.

[1] Enter the network name.

[2] Select IPv4 or IPv6.

[3] Enter the subnet mask.

Note: Starting with Manufacturing Connect version 2.10.0, an IPv4 address in the format 0.xxx.xxx.xxx/8 is no longer allowed due to RFC standards.

  • IPv4 Example: xxx.xxx.0.0/24
  • IPv6 Example: fd97:531a:ce26:ab11::/64

[4] Enter the gateway address.

[5] Review the capacity for activated devices on the network (available for Manufacturing Connect version 2.15.0 and later).
