Cloud Configuration
The Cloud Configuration page allows you to sample data, package import/export capabilities, and a clean method to switch between environments.
The Cloud Configuration module includes the following features:
- Sample Data Injection: Auto-populated fields across major configuration entities.
- Configuration Package Management: Upload, import, and download configuration packages.
- Environment Switcher: Toggle between Development and Production modes.
- Entity Deletion: Clean removal of obsolete configuration items.
Notes:
- This feature is under development and will be enhanced in future release cycles.
- The features are part of MDE version 1.5.0 and above. Ensure that your deployment is up to date so you can access them.
To access the Cloud Configuration's web UI:
- Log in to the Manufacturing Connect platform.
- Navigate to Cloud Configuration from the left-side navigation menu.
If you see the message "Config Manager server is not available," ensure that you set up the MDE Config Manager URL on the Admin Console (Settings > General > Config Manager).
