Dashboard
The Dashboard provides you with a comprehensive overview about the Manufacturing Connect.
From the Dashboard pane, you can view the total number of Manufacturing Connect Edge instances, total database size, total number of messages, and Manufacturing Connect Edge Data Consumer Lag. It includes charts, graphs, and statistics for System Overview, CPU, and Disk Usage.
The dashboard appears by default after logging in to the Admin Console.
Note: The System Time / local time warning feature is available for Manufacturing Connect version 2.10.1 and later.
If the Manufacturing Connect's System Time differs from your device's local time by 10 minutes, a warning will be displayed.
To synchronize the local time and System Time, you will need to configure one or both of the following:
- Fix the local time of your device (the device you're using to access Manufacturing Connect).
- Fix the Manufacturing Connect's System Time. To do this, under NTP Client Settings, you will need to specify and add the proper external NTP Server(s) that the Manufacturing Connect will connect to.
The main Dashboard Deployment heading provides an overview about which edge device deployments are configured on the Manufacturing Connect. It also allows you to monitor how the edge device deployments influence the resources like CPU, Disk storage, or Network traffic of Manufacturing Connect and take action to ensure the highest availability. You can view:
- The number of edge devices, including statistics like Total bytes transferred , Total Messages transferred, Data Consumer Lag.
The Messages chart allows you to monitor the quantity of messages received over time. This allows you to identify slack time or anomalies in the quantity of data received from your edge devices. You can view statistics for the quantity of edge device messages received at a given time from this chart. You can view a point in time for the chart.
