MC Edge Events

Edge Events allows you to view events for the entire date range over its life cycle. You must enable event forwarding for the edge device.

The MC Edge Events tab allows you to select and apply a start and end date for the events you want to view. You can select options from the Severity, Component, Edge Device ID filters to further narrow the entries. You can filter a specific event by device or by component. You can click the device ID link, which navigates you to the selected Edge Device Details pane in the Events tab.

From the Events tab in the Edge Device Details pane, you can enable Forward Events. This allows you to receive alerts when you use actions and triggers in the Alerts module.

To access MC Edge events:

Refer to the following actions you can take on the Manufacturing Connect User UI's Events & Alerts' MC Edge Events tab.

[1] View Edge Device ID: Events

[2] View Severity Info

[3] View Event Info

[4] Action Menu:

[5] Refresh

[6] Show filter / Hide filter: Expands / Hides features [7]-[13]

[7] Select Severity:

[8] Select Component:

[9] Select Edge Device ID: Displays all available connected devices

[10] Select Start Date

[11] Select End Date

[12] Apply

[13] Reset

[14] Select Rows per page: 10, 50, 100
