Credentials
Note: The LTS release 2.22.0 is compatible with both MDE 1.3.x and 1.4.x.
The CREDENTIALS tab includes the Connection, MQTT Server SSL Certificate, Web Server SSL Certificate, Credentials, Topics, and ACL sections.
Connection: Copy any of the server URLs listed in the connection list.
MQTT Server SSL Certificate: View, copy, or download MQTT server certificate.
Web Server SSL Certificate: View, copy, or download Web server SSL certificate.
Credentials: Add, copy, or remove a credential. Credentials are used for accessing wildcard and custom topics.
Topic: You can add, copy, and remove a custom topic. You can copy a default topic. There are three preloaded topics credentials: 1. To send the data 2. To send request 3. To receive responses
ACL: You can add or remove an access control for a topic associated with the selected project.
To access the credentials UI:
- Log in to Manufacturing Connect. The Status Overview pane by default appears.
- From the Navigation panel, select General Settings. The General Settings pane appears. The Settings tab displays by default.
- From the General Settings pane, select Credentials. The Credentials tab appears.
Refer to the following actions you can take on the Manufacturing Connect User UI's General Settings' Credentials tab.
[1] Copy to clipboard: Connection URL
[2] Copy to clipboard: SSL Certificate
[3] Download PEM file
[4] Filter Credentials
[5] Add a Credential: Save the password in a secure place as you cannot view the password again after you close the dialog box.
[6] Copy to clipboard: Credential
[7] Remove Credential
There are three preloaded topics credentials, which are:
- To send the data
- To send request
- To receive responses
[8] Filter Topics: Search by Name or Comment
[9] Add Topic
[10] Copy to clipboard: Topic
[11] Remove Topic
[12] Filter ACL: Search by Username or Topic name
[13] Add a ACL
[14] Remove ACL
