The Manage tab for an edge device offers the following five subtabs.

Services

Start and stop the SSH service.

Note: As of Manufacturing Connect version 2.15.0, Remote Access functionality is no longer available.

Metrics

Start and stop pulling metrics for the edge device.

API

Change the token for direct access to Manufacturing Connect Edge API. See Tokens to create an API Token. When creating the API token, you cannot make it read-only from the Manufacturing Connect Edge user interface.

Software

Note: This subtab is available for Manufacturing Connect version 2.15.0 and later.

View the list of downloaded update files for the edge device.

From the Action menu, you have the following options:

  • Manually upgrade the edge device from the update file.
  • Delete the update file.

Reboot

Reboot the edge device.

Download support bundle files for the edge device.
