Activate an Edge Device

Step 5: Enable the Default Integration Connector

In Manufacturing Connect Edge, you will next enable the default generic MQTT SSL connector to facilitate a data connection between the Manufacturing Connect Edge instance and its respective Manufacturing Connect.

To enable the connector:

  1. In the Manufacturing Connect edge browser tab, from the navigation panel, select Integration.
  2. From the Integration pane that appears, for the Default Generic MQTT SSL connector tile's right, click the connector toggle switch.
  3. Wait a few seconds for the Default Generic MQTT SSL connector tile's top left corner to show CONNECTED status.
